Workspace apps and inventory sync
Integrations covers two distinct things under one sidebar item: a launcher for external apps your organisation uses, and asset inventory sync. Checked as an HR Head on 2026-09-13 and again on 2026-09-26.
Workspace Apps
Integrations opens on Workspace Apps, headed with a count such as "6 total, 5 active". Two tabs sit under the heading, Workspace Apps and Inventory Sync, and an Add App button is at the top right. Above the table is a company filter that starts on All Companies, with a Clear all link beside it.
The table columns are App, Company, URL, Order, Status and Actions. Each row shows the app name, the company it belongs to, its URL as a link, its order, and Active or Inactive. An inactive app's row is dimmed. Each row has Edit and Delete buttons.
This is a launcher list, not a data integration: the page shows links, and nothing on it shows BlueOneHR reading data back from these apps.
The Add App form
Add App opens the Add Workspace App form:
- Service Name (required): the display name shown on the dashboard card.
- Service URL (required): the hint says to include the full URL with https://.
- Short Description (optional).
- Logo / Icon Image: PNG, JPG or SVG, recommended 128x128 px; the hint says to leave it blank for a default icon.
- Company (who should see this?) (required): only employees of the selected company see the app.
- Active (show on dashboard): ticked when the form opens; only active services are shown on the employee dashboard.
- Display Order (required): starts at 0; lower numbers appear first.
Not confirmed
- Where an added app appears for employees. The form's hints say the employee dashboard, but the employee test account could not open Integrations and no app tile was found on the dashboards that were viewed.
- What saving, editing or deleting an app does. The form was opened and left unsaved, and Edit and Delete were not used.
- How a link opens when selected.
Inventory Sync
A separate tab alongside Workspace Apps, for synchronising asset inventory — likely with Assets (the sidebar module tracking company equipment) or an external inventory system. Not exercised in this pass; do not describe its specific sync behaviour until it has actually been verified.
Related
- Nothing in the existing corpus yet covers Assets directly — see the sidebar's own Assets module for allocated equipment, which Inventory Sync may relate to.
