How projects work
Projects is a lightweight project- and task-tracking module: projects, the tasks under them, and a timesheet. Verified live on demo.blueonehr.com, 2026-09-13, signed in as an HR Head.
The pieces
| Screen | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | An overview of projects and tasks. |
| Projects | Each project's status, managers, members, start/end dates, and a running task count. |
| Tasks | Every task, with its project, stage (e.g. Todo, In Progress), managers, members, end date and status. |
| Timesheet | Logging time against a project or task — not exercised in this pass. |

What was actually observed
One project existed — HRMS Mobile App Rollout - Phase 2, status In Progress, with three
tasks under it: "QA regression pass on Android release candidate", "Build attendance clock-in/out
API integration", and "Design onboarding flow wireframes", all in the Todo stage except the last,
which was In Progress. Tasks carry their own manager and member assignments independent of the
parent project's — two of the three tasks had no manager assigned (shown as -).

- Applying for leave and Payroll overview are separate modules; nothing observed in Projects ties task time to payroll or timesheets to leave in this pass.
